Hello,

My name is Owen and like lots of things.  One of those things is traveling.  If you found this blog you most likely know me because I made the domain name completely crazy so only my friends could find it.  Well, now that that is out of the way we can get to what this is really about.

This blog will capture all my adventures as I travel with small, small amounts of money!  I just entered the world of adulthood and college and all that so this will document all my further excursions of trying to see the world as a broke student.

If you have read this far you must not only be a friend of mine but also really like me because so far this has been really boring and to be honest it might not get much more interesting than this...... Read on at your own risk!!

If you have read this far you are now invested.  This blog was created because one of my lovely co-workers said she would like to see the adventures I go on (You know who you are!) so here it is!  This summer, well actually in about 10 days I will be leaving for a month long backpacking trip from Stockholm Sweden to Bergen Norway.  I started planning this trip three years ago and now it's happening!  As stated before I am poor and I fund all my own adventures (I'm not some rich kid who's parents are sending him off for this free trip or anything like that).  So in the next few weeks if you check back I will have tales of skipping meals, couchsurfing (My moms favorite!), and lots of walking.  But to me this is what traveling is all about.  I've traveled before in lots of different ways and to me traveling is about meeting new people and discovering the world, not just taking pictures and getting back on the bus.  To me traveling is about getting lost because that's where the adventure begins!

The world is not as scary as we think.
